Dr Zarina Muminova is an Advocacy Officer at the Global Parenting Initiative, supporting policy engagement for evidence-based parenting programmes globally. She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Edinburgh, where her research explored parental engagement in early learning in rural Tajikistan.
Zarina’s work highlights the strengths of families in low-resource settings and advocates for culturally responsive, strength-based approaches. Her research interests include family engagement, parent-child relationships, and early childhood education, as well as how research can inform policy and practice to improve parenting programs and early childhood interventions in low-resource settings.
