Daniel Stamate is an Associate Professor in Data Science at Goldsmiths, University of London, and also conducts research in Machine Learning as a Honors Associate Professor in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Manchester. His research interests encompass AI and prediction modelling, and their application in interdisciplinary research – in particular in mental health, research direction in which he collaborates closely with psychology, clinical and biostatistics researchers from the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at King’s College London. He currently works as a Co-I and co-leads, as an AI – Machine Learning senior researcher, the Measuring Playful Parenting at Scale Using Machine-Learning Project in GPI. He is currently the Director of the Data Science and Soft Computing Lab at Goldsmiths, University of London, and serves as the Vice-President of the British Data Science Society.
