The Global Parenting Initiative (GPI) is a five-year collaboration of universities, foundations, and implementing partners, with the aim of providing access to free, evidence-based, playful parenting support to every parent, everywhere, so that they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to help their children realise their learning potential and to prevent child sexual abuse, exploitation, and family violence.
The Second Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children will take place on 18–19 November 2026 in Manila, Philippines, bringing together governments, UN agencies, civil society, researchers, donors, children and young people to accelerate global action to end violence against children. As one of the world’s leading forums on violence prevention, it offers a unique opportunity for countries to announce ambitious commitments, share progress, and strengthen partnerships towards Sustainable Development Goal 16.2 – ending all forms of violence against children.
