Building on the positive results from the Hope Groups evaluation in Ukraine, the team launched a new randomised controlled trial among Palestinians living in Jerash Camp, Jordan in January 2025. The study uses a time-staggered design implemented across three phases to explore programme feasibility, acceptability, and potential impact in a new humanitarian setting.
Early monitoring feedback has been encouraging, with caregivers describing Hope Groups as a valued space of “love, comfort, support, and safety,” helping them strengthen relationships with their children.
The final trial phase was completed in November 2025, with a total sample of 250 caregivers supporting more than 1,250 children. Full analyses will be completed by March 2026, with publications to follow.
