Ms. Kija Nyalali is a PhD Research Fellow with ParentApp for Teens in Tanzania. She holds an MPH and is currently working at the National Institute for Medical Research as a PhD fellow for the ParentApp for Teens project. She is a seasoned Public Health practitioner with over 17 years’ experience in public health research, strategic information systems management and project implementation science. Throughout this period, she pioneered the design and implementation of innovative approaches for improving quality of routine health service delivery data including designing of electronic hospital data management system for Marie Stopes Tanzania, high frequency reporting (HFR) system and use of geographic information systems (GIS) for target planning and implementation of HIV prevention, care, and treatment intervention for IntraHealth International and Afya Plus.
