Dr Samantha Mendez is the Research Manager for Qualitative Research at Parenting for Lifelong Health Philippines. She was previously a facilitator of the Masayang Pamilya Para Sa Tinedyer Pilipino Program (MaPa Teens) before engaging in the research arm of PLH Philippines. She holds a doctorate degree in Developmental Psychology and a Master’s degree in Special Education. Samantha is particularly interested in adolescent and young adult development and has qualitative research experience on meaning in life, singlehood, well-being, and women’s issues. She was also involved in the design, pilot implementation, and evaluation of a youth substance abuse prevention program.
