In partnership with the University of Oxford, the University of Cape Town, and Parenting for Lifelong Health, UNICEF has released a new report that brings together insights from a rapid evidence synthesis and consultations with over 50 experts across UN agencies, NGOs, academia, and survivor-led organisations.
The findings highlight critical considerations for designing interventions that empower parents and caregivers to play an active role in both preventing and responding to online sexual violence.
The recommendations emphasise families as essential partners within a broader, multisectoral effort to tackle technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and abuse.
