Prof Frances Gardner receives ACAMH President’s Medal for lifetime impact on child mental health

GPI is proud to celebrate Professor Frances Gardner, GPI’s Senior Research Investigator and Wolfson College Governing Body Fellow, for being awarded the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH) President’s Medal in recognition of her lifetime contribution to child and adolescent mental health.

Professor Gardner, who is a Professor of Child and Family Psychology at the University of Oxford’s Department of Social Policy and Intervention, has led pioneering research for over 30 years on reducing child behaviour problems and preventing violence against children. Her work has shaped policy and practice across the UK, Europe, and globally, influencing governments and leading organisations.
