On May 20th, Khaing Lwin and Nway Oo from Mae Tao Clinic and the GPI Parenting on the Border study presented findings from their joint project at the Ethnic Health Research and Development Seminar in Mae Sot.
The event, organised biennially by the Burma Medical Association, drew over 150 participants and highlighted efforts to strengthen ethnic health systems, foster collaboration, and address border health challenges.
The GPI team’s presentation generated strong interest from attendees, underscoring the relevance of their work in fragile and underserved settings.
