On 14 November 2025, Dr. Isang Awah, GPI’s Head of Advocacy, presented “Scaling Parenting Support in Crisis and Beyond” at the FLOURISH Regional Conference. Her presentation highlighted how evidence-based parenting programmes can support families navigating conflict, instability, and other crises.
The conference was part of the Horizon Europe-funded FLOURISH project, supported by the European Commission and UK Research & Innovation. This event brought together experts, policymakers, and innovators. The event explored new models for parenting support, adolescent mental health, and systemic solutions to strengthen communities. It marked an important step toward building sustainable, evidence-based family support systems across Southeastern Europe.
