GPI team spirit at ISPCAN 2024

GPI was again represented by a large group of colleagues at this year’s International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) congress. After presenting a successful pre-conference workshop, GPI colleagues gathered to share knowledge, insights and prepare for the three jam-packed conference days.

Led by GPI capacity-building lead, Nondumiso Mginywa, those delivering presentations or presenting posters at the conference did a dry-run for the group as a way of preparing and fine-tuning their presentations. With that out of the way Maggie Marx, GPI communications director, shared some AI tools to help delegates to get the most out of their conference experiences. Dr Isang Awah, GPI’s head of advocacy, then wrapped up a very successful first day at ISPCAN 2024 with some general conferencing tips.
