Nondumiso Mginywa is the Capacity Sharing Lead for the GPI. She holds a degree in Journalism and Media Studies and Anthropology from Rhodes University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education from UNISA, and a Masters degree in Adult Education from the University of Cape Town. Nondumiso has a wealth of experience in the higher education sector, and has expertise in programme and project planning and implementation, and student capacity development and support. In 2016, she did a Foundation course in Design Thinking offered by the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design Thinking at UCT, which she has used to coach four groups of postgraduate students in Design Thinking. Her broad interests are translating community needs to learning opportunities, Design Thinking as a tool for social change, and capacity building for adult educators within the community education sector.
