Trisha Javier

Trisha Javier was a Research Assistant for Parenting within the Social Welfare System in the Philippines. She is interested in adolescent development, parent education and support, and internet-mediated research methodology. Prior to PLH-PH she assisted in the program implementation of STEP-UP, a nationwide scholarship program for education students to improve teacher quality in the Philippines. She joined PLH-PH as she was completing her Masters Practitioner degree in Developmental Psychology and plans to pursue not only further research engagements with PLH-PH but also program development and training within the organization. Her other professional long-term interests include psychological counselling and assessment.
