Professor Ayuku is a Professor of Clinical Psychology of Moi University College of Health Sciences Department of Mental Health and Behavioural Sciences with over thirty years of teaching, research experience and clinical work with marginalized homeless children and adolescents in Eldoret, Kenya. His expertise is in child and adolescent mental health with focus on street involved youth, orphans and separated children. His research has generated new descriptions of the characteristics of children living on the street and their social networks, allowing for a more comprehensive understanding of health challenges and the development of appropriate intervention methods.
