Mark kicked off the conference with a powerful presentation at the presidential symposium, titled "A future for the world's children? Play as the basis of a new paradigm for a world on fire." He emphasised that play is essential not only for children but for building resilient societies in these challenging times.

Caspar explored the ethics of AI in developmental psychology research, discussing new challenges and showcasing how we're addressing them through the GPI programme’s machine learning sub-project. His insights were complemented by a poster presentation with @Irene Uwerikowe and Jerry Ishaya.

Additionally, Caspar delighted families at a pre-conference parent outreach event with a charming show based on his Babies Laugh picture books. Although the IMAX stage wasn’t the perfect fit for tiny tots, both babies and parents had a blast!
