Dr. Jamie Lachman leads key discussions on parenting innovation at the Asia regional conference

From 27-30 May, 2024, Dr. Jamie Lachman represented the GPI and Global Initiative to Support Parents at the Asia Regional Network for Early Childhood conference in Penang, Malaysia. 

Accompanied by colleagues from Parenting for Lifelong Health, Dr. Lachman moderated a well-attended panel discussion on parenting and innovation, attracting over 100 participants. Additionally, he facilitated a network meeting for 85 implementers, researchers, and policymakers focused on ensuring universal access to evidence-based parenting programs. Presentations by Global Parenting Initiative partners from the Philippines (Ms. Jennel Reyes) and Malaysia (Professor Rumaya Juhari) highlighted key research findings from their respective country studies.
