Nicole Baldonado is an implementing partner and co-investigator on Ukrainian Hope Groups: A Pilot CRT and was a co-investigator on the Evaluation of Parenting in Crisis study in Ukraine, in collaboration with Parenting for Lifelong Health. She is a co-founder and the principal program coordinator of Hope Groups through World Without Orphans Global. Hope Groups are psychosocial and parenting support groups for Ukrainians impacted by war, built from evidence-based parenting tips in collaboration with Parenting for Lifelong Health and Oxford University.
Nicole worked with other trauma experts and Ukrainian nationals to develop the Hope Group curriculum, pilot the program among Ukrainian refugees displaced by war, and establish a train-the-trainer program to equip other Ukrainians to lead these groups.
