Nurhilmiyani Ismail is executive officer in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies, Faculty of Human Ecology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She holds the role of Project Manager for the Parenting within the Preschool System: Optimization and Scale-Up of Human-Digital Playful Parenting Programmes within the Malaysian Preschool System. She has been involved in the earlier stage of the research as an enumerator for Semarak Kasih under project entitled “Research and Coordination Services to Support National Population”.
Nurhilmiyani’s research interests include issues related to family caregivers for older parents. She has more than 10 years’ experience as research assistant in various research involving adolescent, adults, elderly, families, and community.
She holds a Master's degree in Family Ecology from Universiti Putra Malaysia and pursue her doctorate in Developmental Psychology, focusing on the family caregivers from adult sibling perspective.
