GPI Lead Prof Cathy Ward Sits on Expert Panel at UN General Assembly Debate
GPI lead Professor Cathy Ward sat on the United Nations General Assembly expert panel at the Seventy-sixth session high-level debate on the theme "Enhancing youth mainstreaming in crime prevention policies". During the debate, experts, Member States and Observers of the General Assembly exchanged views about opportunities and challenges in mainstreaming youth in crime and violence prevention policies and practices as well as initiatives that aim to mobilize and empower youth as agents of change and contribute to more effective, evidence-based prevention.
