Dr Inge Vallance is the Head of Research at the Global Parenting Initiative and is based in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention at the University of Oxford. Inge has extensive experience in research and grant management, and has supported several studies on Parenting for Lifelong Health, including randomised trials, the multi-country SUPER study, and the COVID-19 emergency response. Before her move to Oxford, she was a Senior Technical Advisor on Monitoring and Evaluation at Clowns Without Borders South Africa. Inge has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Cape Town. Her doctoral work, which was nested within a randomised trial of PLH for Young Children in Cape Town, explored factors that influenced parental engagement in the intervention.
