Violence against children and adolescents is a pervasive global problem, but it is particularly acute in low- and middle-income countries. Parenting interventions have shown promise in reducing violence, but in-person interventions are often expensive and inaccessible to at-risk families. Digital interventions present a scalable and cost-effective alternative, yet engaging families is a substantial challenge.

Join us for a webinar exploring the study design, implementation, and findings of a 2x2x2 factorial trial for the optimisation of engagement in ParentApp for Teens, an open-source digital parenting intervention implemented in Tanzania.

Roselinde Janowski

Roselinde Janowski is a Co-Investigator on the ParentApp Teens Tanzania project, where she leads the design, implementation, and evaluation of an engagement optimisation trial. She is a doctoral student in Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation at the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on implementing interventions to prevent violence against young people and evaluating their delivery and effects in low- and middle-income countries. She holds an MA and a BSocSc (Hons) in Psychological Research from the University of Cape Town
