Parenting for Lifelong Health and Catherine Ward selected as finalists for Falling Walls Science Summit 2024

The Parenting for Lifelong Health (PLH) team, in collaboration with its scientific advisor Prof Catherine Ward, has been selected as a finalist for the Falling Walls Science Summit 2024. Prof Ward is also GPI’s Facilitate Lead and PLH is an integral partner in GPI’s work. Their efforts to ‘breakreaking the wall of global parenting support,” have earned recognition under the Social Sciences and Humanities category.

The Falling Walls Global Call 2024 attracted over 1 100 nominations from more than 300 institutions, highlighting innovative scientific advancements and impactful initiatives across various disciplines. This year's selection process was highly competitive, adding even more significance to this honour.

All finalists are now one step closer to the esteemed title of Science Breakthrough of the Year, which will be celebrated at the Falling Walls Science Summit from November 7 to 9, in Berlin. All finalist applications will be evaluated based on strict selection criteria to choose 10 winners, with the exception of the Science Startups and Science Engagement categories. The winners will be announced in mid-August.
