Reporting by Inge Vallance, GPI Head of Research
Our capacity-sharing activities under Facilitate have taken off in earnest over the past few months. We launched our Thai Positive Parenting Community of Practice, and our Playful Learning Groups are now in full swing. Our Research in Progress sessions continue apace, with sessions covering open science, research uptake and child rights, and disability inclusion since August. Excitingly, the DSPI at University of Oxford has generously invited our GPI ECRs to audit Oxford Evidence-Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation MSc courses.
Exciting opportunities to collaborate continue to come up, with Sugira Muryango inviting our teams to join a symposium at the International Congress on Evidence-based Parenting Support. We also hosted a highly successful online R workshop from 19-28 October, covering working with data, using R markdown, as well as exploring and reporting data. Many thanks to Francisco Calderon, Maria Ambrosio, Stephanie Eagling-Peche, and Alexandra Blackwell for their excellent preparation, teaching, and guidance on this.
